Job Responsibilities
Logistics Coordination: Arrange and manage the transportation of goods (inbound/outbound) to ensure timely delivery to customers or suppliers.

Carrier Management: Communicate with logistics service providers, trucking companies, or courier services to book shipments, negotiate rates, and track delivery progress.

Route Planning: Plan the most efficient and cost-effective delivery routes to save time and reduce transportation expenses.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential shipping documentation, including Delivery Notes (DN), Bills of Lading (BOL), Customs declarations (if applicable), and invoices.

Monitoring & Tracking: Track all shipments in real-time, anticipate potential delays, and proactively communicate status updates to the sales or customer service teams.

Problem Solving: Address and resolve any transit issues, such as delays, damaged goods, or route disruptions, by coordinating with drivers and warehouses.

Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with traffic regulations, weight limits, and safety standards for the safe transport of cargo.

Reporting: Update the transportation management system or internal logs daily to track freight costs, fuel consumption, and on-time delivery performance.

Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma, vocational training, or a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination is preferred.

Geographic Knowledge: Good knowledge of local routes, geography, and traffic patterns in the operating area.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with logistics or fleet management software.

Organizational Skills: Excellent multitasking ability; capable of managing multiple shipments simultaneously under time pressure.

Attitude: Proactive, organized, and a problem-solver who remains calm in fast-paced situations.
