JOB DESCRIPTION: Restaurant Server
Job Responsibilities
Customer Greeting: Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
Order Taking: Clearly explain menu items, offer suggestions (specials/promotions), and accurately record food and beverage orders.
Service Delivery: Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure food and drinks are served promptly and correctly.
Table Maintenance: Pre-bus tables, refill drinks, and ensure guests have everything they need throughout their dining experience.
Payment Processing: Handle billing accurately, including processing cash and credit card transactions using the POS system.
Cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and folding napkins.
Problem Solving: Address guest concerns or complaints with a professional and helpful attitude, ensuring a positive resolution.
Job Requirements
Experience: Previous experience as a server or in a customer-facing role is highly preferred.
Communication: Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Appearance: Groomed, professional appearance, and good hygiene standards.
Attitude: Proactive, hardworking, and able to maintain a positive attitude during high-pressure shifts.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
Language: Basic English proficiency (for high-end or tourist-frequented restaurants) is an advantage.
