We are seeking strong, reliable, and hardworking Housemen to provide essential support to our Housekeeping Department. In this important role, you will handle heavy-duty cleaning, furniture movement, room setup, and general maintenance tasks to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are always in excellent condition. If you have good physical stamina, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset, this position offers a stable opportunity to contribute directly to the hotel’s cleanliness and guest satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities

Heavy Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform deep cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces including carpet shampooing, wall washing, and high-reach cleaning.
Room Setup & Turnaround: Move furniture, set up rooms for special requests (baby cots, extra beds, VIP setups), and support Room Attendants during high occupancy.
Linen & Supply Delivery: Transport clean linen, amenities, and supplies between laundry, storeroom, and floors; collect dirty linen and trash.
Public Area Support: Assist Public Area Attendants with heavy tasks such as moving furniture, cleaning large surfaces, and maintaining outdoor areas.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate heavy cleaning equipment (carpet cleaners, floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, etc.).
Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or needed repairs to supervisors or Engineering Department.
Safety & Hygiene: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols; handle chemicals and equipment responsibly.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with Room Attendants, Public Area Supervisors, Laundry, and Executive Housekeeper to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; no formal degree required.
Experience: 0–3+ years in housekeeping, general maintenance, or similar roles in hotels, resorts, or facilities. Fresh candidates with strong physical fitness are welcome.
Technical & Practical Skills:
Ability to operate housekeeping equipment and tools safely.
Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical usage.
Good physical strength for lifting, moving furniture, and prolonged standing/walking.

Soft Skills & Attributes:
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a positive attitude.
Team player who can also work independently.
Good communication skills (English is an advantage).
Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays.
